Amy is a Research Fellow in MED whose research focuses on the effect of plant-based diets and bioactives on cardiometabolic and cognitive health. She has also worked in public health supporting commissioning and service evaluation. In particular, she has developed and evaluated public health interventions aimed at improving access and availability of healthy foods, and reducing obesity, in areas of deprivation. She is currently working on developing the UK Nutrition and Healthy Life Expectancy (NuLifE) randomised controlled trial, which aims to assess the impact of improving eating behaviour on disease risk.
