I am a practising psychiatrist.

My current research is focused on health ageing investigation dementia alone and complex multi-morbidities. I am funded in conventional statistics (MRC Gemini) and AI (NIHR Inflaim) to investigate characterization of multi-morbidities.

I  work on IMP trials in neurodegeneration (NIHR funded) and cutting edge digital platforms for coaching with self-management and support in older people (NIHR CARECOACH).

We are investigating the impact of inflammation on neurodegeneration (ARUK ASCRIBED) to help guide translational targets.

We co-developed the anticholinergic burden scale (most widely used internationally) which we are refining with AI to provide a more presicion medicine approach to assessment of harmful medications
